Description
Nexus Labor Group is seeking reliable Warehouse Associates for warehouse, fulfillment, distribution, and industrial assignments with our clients. Warehouse Associates help move products efficiently through a facility by receiving, picking, packing, staging, organizing, and preparing materials or merchandise for shipment. Duties may vary based on the facility and assignment.
Responsibilities
- Pick products or materials accurately according to work orders or customer orders.
- Pack, label, seal, and prepare products for shipment.
- Receive and inspect incoming products and materials.
- Load and unload trucks, pallets, containers, or delivery vehicles as assigned.
- Move materials between receiving, storage, production, and shipping areas.
- Stage orders for shipment or production.
- Count, sort, organize, and maintain inventory.
- Use RF scanners, warehouse systems, pallet jacks, carts, or similar equipment when required.
- Inspect products for visible damage or discrepancies and report issues.
- Maintain clean and organized aisles, workstations, and storage areas.
- Follow warehouse productivity and safety procedures.
- Operate forklifts or other powered industrial equipment only when appropriately trained, evaluated, and authorized.
Qualifications
- Previous packing experience.
- Previous picking experience.
- Previous warehouse or material-handling experience preferred.
- Prior forklift experience/training is a plus.
- Ability to complete required drug screening.
- Ability to complete applicable background screening.
- Resume or work history showing relevant experience.
$15–$41 / hour
