Description
This job is for a professional residential remodeling company specializing in high-quality interior and exterior renovations. We are seeking a reliable and skilled laborer to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in framing, drywall, door installation, finish carpentry, and painting, with the ability to deliver precise, high-standard work on residential projects. Tile experience is a plus but not required. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of remodeling projects in a supportive, quality-focused environment. Compensation will be determined based on demonstrated skill level and experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform framing work for residential interior and exterior remodeling projects
- Install and finish drywall to professional standards
- Hang and adjust interior and exterior doors
- Execute finish carpentry tasks including cabinet installation, baseboard, casing, window sills, and aprons
- Prepare surfaces and apply paint finishes with attention to detail and quality
- Assist with tile work when needed (preferred but not required)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Follow project plans, specifications, and supervisor instructions accurately
- Collaborate effectively with the crew to complete projects on schedule and to high quality standards
- Properly use and care for tools and materials
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential remodeling or construction as a skilled laborer
- Strong skills in framing, drywall installation/finishing, interior and exterior door installation, finish carpentry (cabinets, baseboard, casing, sills/aprons), and painting
- Tile experience preferred but not required
- Ability to read and follow basic plans and specifications
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to quality craftsmanship
- Physically able to perform the demands of the job, including lifting, standing, and working in various conditions
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
- Willingness to work full-time hours and contribute as a team player
$17–$30 / hour
