Description

Nexus Labor Group is seeking dependable Janitorial / Sanitation Workers to maintain clean, sanitary, organized, and safe facilities for our clients. Assignments may take place in warehouses, industrial facilities, offices, production environments, or other commercial locations. Responsibilities vary by location but generally include cleaning floors and surfaces, removing waste, sanitizing assigned areas, replenishing supplies, and following established cleaning procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, or otherwise clean floors as required.
  • Clean and sanitize assigned work areas, restrooms, common areas, and surfaces.
  • Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste according to site procedures.
  • Clean windows, mirrors, doors, fixtures, and other surfaces when assigned.
  • Use cleaning products, disinfectants, tools, and equipment according to instructions and safety procedures.
  • Replenish soap, paper products, cleaning supplies, and other facility materials as needed.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in an orderly condition.
  • Follow sanitation schedules, checklists, and client-specific procedures.
  • Identify and report spills, hazards, maintenance issues, or damaged equipment.
  • Follow required health, safety, chemical-handling, and personal-protective-equipment procedures.

Qualifications

  • Previous sanitation, janitorial, commercial-cleaning, or related experience.
  • Knowledge of common cleaning products and procedures.
  • Ability to follow product instructions and safety procedures.
  • Ability to complete required drug screening.
  • Ability to complete applicable background screening.
  • Resume or work history showing relevant experience.

$15–$41 / hour
